Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Commercial Property Management Surveyor and a Graduate Surveyor. Based in our Hull Head Office this is an exciting opportunity to join our busy, friendly and supportive team.

Commercial Property Management Surveyor

Reporting to the Head of Property Management, you will be responsible for the day to day management of a varied and interesting commercial property portfolio.

Role will include:

  • Multi-occupied property management – industrial, office and retail
  • Property inspections and reporting
  • Ensuring tenant compliance with lease obligations
  • Co-ordination with accounts/ admin team on arrears
  • Service Charge preparation, management and reconciliation reporting.
  • Creating and retaining strong relationship with clients, tenants and third parties.
  • Day to day liaison with clients and tenants.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Excellent, written, communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Previous experience in Property Management role, or similar
  • Able to effectively and efficiently manage large workloads
  • Good skills in Excel and the use of a Property Management systems (relevant training provided)
  • Motivated and driven individual who can build strong relationships with clients and tenants
  • Property Degree, HND or equivalent preferred (desirable)
  • MRICS qualified or equivalent (desirable)

Graduate Commercial Property Management Surveyor

This role is immediately available for the selected candidate and offers a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience via a varied commercial property portfolio, whilst receiving full support towards the completion of APC qualification.

The Role will include:

  • Involvement with hands-on and proactive property management issues
  • Property Survey and Inspection
  • Tenant and client liaison
  • Assisting with the preparation and reconciliation of Service Charge Budgets
  • Assisting with Landlord and Tenant matters, such as lease renewals, rent review, vacations and expiries and other matters arising with the portfolio.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Full driving licence and own car essential
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • 12 months prior experience in similar role, ideally in Property Management.
  • Good skills in Excel and the use of a Property Management systems (relevant training provided)
  • Have RICS accredited degree or equivalent and working towards completion of APC.
