GOOLE ENJOYS RETAIL RESURGENCE DUE TO GREAT LOGISTICAL LOCATION

PPH Commercial is delighted to report increased levels of activity in the Goole commercial property market over the past six months.
The Hessle based chartered surveyors have successfully sold a former distribution facility on Mariner Street in the town and a residential development site in Boothferry Road.
They have also successfully agreed a number of new lettings on the Larsen Park industrial estate. Ben Medhurst of PPH Commercial said "We are delighted to confirm we have agreed the letting of 60,000 sq ft of warehouse and distribution space at the Opus 36 site, in Rawcliffe Road, Goole together with the letting of a further 7,500 sq ft of office space to a national distribution company. The transaction is with solicitors and should be completed by the end of February. This deal in conjunction with the above transactions and the recent announcement that Morrisons is to develop a new supermarket on the former Timms Flour Mill in Boothferry Road, confirms Goole is enjoying something of a resurgence, in terms of a commercial property market".
The town's well established logistical position, together with its dock facilities and national rail network, means Goole provides a cost effective alternative to the more established distribution locations in Doncaster, Normanton and Wakefield.
With the development of Capitol Park, the 300 acre development site adjacent to the M62 and the Horncastle Group's Ozone development at Howden, there exists ample opportunities for future development within the East Riding for companies looking to locate in an area of the county with a terrific location.
